Rescue team members check a Hughes C300 HL 408 helicopter belonging to the Army, which crash-landed in Tugurejo village in Semarang, Central Java, on Saturday. Pilot Maj. An Indonesian Army training helicopter crashed onto a shrimp farm in Tugurejo in Semarang, Central Java, about five kilometers from Ahmad Yani Airport at around 7:30 a.m on Saturday, tempointeraktif.com has reported.
Helicopter pilot Capt. Agus Suprayogo and Second Lt. Riyan were severely injured and was taken to Tugurejo Hospital.
An Army team is still working to remove the wreck of the chopper, which was broken into several pieces.
A member of the team said that engine failure may have caused the incident. (dre)
