In a week that saw landslides, an earthquake and a plane crash in Indonesia, newspapers wonder why the country keeps attracting disasters of various kinds.
Several dailies say that Wednesday's Garuda Airlines crash was caused by negligence and call for Jakarta to take immediate action to prevent more accidents.
One paper suggests that "national repentance" may prevent further disasters.
